Patriots vs Chiefs

Patriots vs Chiefs: Live Stream The only Week 14 game that’s a playoff rematch from last season is the Kansas City Chiefs visiting the New England Patriots. The Chiefs are eyeing payback for a home overtime loss to the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game, and kickoff is 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS from Gillette Stadium.

If not for an offsides call on then-Chiefs linebacker Dee Ford late in regulation that wiped out a Tom Brady interception, Kansas City would have likely reached its first Super Bowl since 1970, and Brady and Bill Belichick would have five Super Bowl rings instead of six. The underdog has covered four of the past five in this series. New England is a three-point favorite in the latest Patriots vs. Chiefs odds, while the over-under is 49.5. Before making any Chiefs vs. Patriots picks of your own, be sure to see the NFL predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up over $7,000 for $100 players on its top-rated NFL picks since its inception four years ago. It has nailed its recent top-rated NFL picks, entering Week 14 of the 2019 NFL schedule on a strong 32-21 run that dates back to last season.

It’s also on an incredible 94-64 roll on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season. The model ranked in the Top 10 on NFLPickWatch the past three years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 96 percent of CBS Sports office pool players last season. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

Now, the model has set its sights on Chiefs vs. Patriots. We can tell you the model is leaning under the total, and it says one side of the spread has all the value. Go to SportsLine now to see it. Here are the betting lines and trends for Chiefs vs. Patriots:

Patriots vs. Chiefs spread: New England -3
Patriots vs. Chiefs over-under: 49.5 points
Patriots vs. Chiefs money line: New England -160, Kansas City +140
KC: Chiefs have been better on road (5-1) than at home (3-3) this year
NE: Since 2001, Pats are NFL-best 36-4 at Gillette Stadium in December
The model knows that the Patriots rarely lose back-to-back games in the Brady-Belichick era and have covered 47 of their past 69 games following a loss. New England was upset last Sunday night in Houston, 28-22. New England hasn’t lost back-to-back games straight-up since Weeks 2 and 3 of the 2018 season, and those were both on the road. At home, the Patriots have won their last 21 games and covered 16 of those.

Part of the reason the Patriots may have lost in Houston was a flu bug that swept through the team and left 17 players as questionable, including NFL Defensive Player of the Year favorite and cornerback Stephon Gilmore. New England is also hopeful of getting back starting cornerback Jason McCourty, who has missed the past two games with a groin injury.

But just because New England is favored doesn’t mean it will cover the Patriots vs. Chiefs spread on Sunday.

The Chiefs have been a strong road bet the last two-plus seasons, covering 10 of their last 15 away from home and seven of their previous 10 away games against teams with a winning home record. While Patrick Mahomes is 0-2 versus New England in his career including playoffs, he has put up sky-high numbers against the Patriots’ defense. The reigning NFL MVP had 352 yards passing and four touchdowns in the 2018 regular-season loss and 295 yards and three touchdowns in the AFC Championship Game defeat.

While Kansas City’s defense hasn’t been strong against the run this year, it has come up with several big plays. The free-agent addition of safety Tyrann Mathieu has played a major role. “The Honey Badger” has interceptions in back-to-back games and the Chiefs have held the Chargers and Raiders to a combined 26 points in consecutive wins.

NFL Week 13 SNF Game Preview

Sunday Night Football features an AFC showdown that has plenty of playoff implications for both the 10-1 New England Patriots and the 7-4 Houston Texans. The Patriots sit atop the AFC East and can clinch a playoff spot with a win and losses or ties by either the Raiders or Steelers. The Texans are locked in a much more tense battle, leading the AFC South by only one game as the Titans and Colts sit at 6-5.

The Patriots are coming off of a scrappy 13-9 victory over the Cowboys, giving them their 17th consecutive 10-win season. New England’s offense struggled, only scoring one touchdown with Tom Brady throwing for fewer than 200 yards. The QB applauded rookie receivers N’Keal Harry, who scored the touchdown, and Jakobi Meyers, who had 74 receiving yards, saying, “They both came through with some big plays for us.” Brady has been working through some right elbow issues the past couple weeks, but has reported he feels “really good.” The rest of the team is also plagued by injuries, with 17 listed as questionable for the matchup vs. the Texans, including Stephon Gilmore, Julian Edelman, Mohamed Sanu, and Phillip Dorsett.

The Texans celebrated a major win in Week 12 — a narrow 20-17 win over their division rivals, the Colts, where Deshaun Watson found DeAndre Hopkins in the end zone twice. In his first game back from injury, Will Fuller ran for 140 yards, with Hopkins saying, “[He] came back from injury, made plays for us when we needed him today, to have that 1-2 punch is awesome.” Despite the key victory over Indianapolis making Houston the clear favorites, the AFC South remains a three-team race, with Tennessee still playing the Texans twice and the Colts once more.

Fantasy Football Advice

According to Rotoworld’s Hayden Winks, Tom Brady remains a QB1/2 despite his 3.4% touchdown rate and 6.7 YPA being his worst since 2002. Sony Michel is an RB2/3 since he’s dependent on touchdowns as he’s losing a dozen or so snaps to Rex Burkhead, while James White (RB3) might be more involved this week as the Texans allow the most receptions to running backs. Julian Edelman remains a WR1 as he sees high-level usage and is tied for the second-most targets with 112. The Texans also have a QB1/2 in Deshaun Watson, who will be tested this week against a phenomenal Patriots defense, but his rushing production while trailing keeps him in the low-end QB1 mix. RB Carlos Hyde is a preferred sit this week against the No. 1 defense versus fantasy running backs. DeAndre Hopkins is downgraded to a WR2 as he’ll face the league’s best corner in Stephon Gilmore, but the receiver “should still see 8-12 targets and is capable of winning a few plays.”

Patriots vs Texans: Odds NFL Sunday Night Football Game Week 13 While the Patriots’ defense continues to operate at an elite level, Tom Brady and the offense are sputtering heading into Sunday night’s showdown on the road against the Texans in a clash of AFC division leaders.

The Patriots (10–1) lead the AFC East by two games over the Bills and still have a one-game lead over the only team to defeat them–the Ravens–for the No. 1 seed in the AFC. New England has won back-to-back games since that loss, but both victories were grind out affairs.

That was especially true last Sunday in a 13–9 victory over the Cowboys. Brady and the Patriots were held under 300 total yards for the second straight game, and the lone touchdown drive was only 12 yards, set up by a blocked punt by Matthew Slater in the first quarter.

Brady finished 17 of 37 for 190 yards and a touchdown in the wind and rain, with rookie N’Keal Harry getting his first touchdown catch. Sony Michel labored for 85 yards on 20 carries, as New England’s offensive line continues to struggle to string together solid performances. Michel has 600 yards, but his 3.4 yards per carry is more than a yard off his 2018 rookie average of 4.5 per carry.

There have been no whispers about the 42-year-old Brady declining, but his 62.2 completion percentage is tracking to be his worst since 2013 (60.5) and he has just 15 touchdown passes on the season.

While the offense struggles to gain traction, the defense continues to produce. Last Sunday’s win marked the fifth time New England did not concede an offensive touchdown and the Patriots lead the league in scoring defense at 10.6 points per game allowed.

After impressively holding Amari Cooper without a catch, Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore will line up against another of the NFL’s elite receivers in DeAndre Hopkins. The seventh-year Texans receiver has team-highs of 81 receptions and 839 yards as he powers to his third consecutive 1,000-yard season and fifth of his career.

Houston (7–4) leads the AFC South by one game over Indianapolis after beating the Colts 20–17 in Week 12. Hopkins and Deshaun Watson connected on a go-ahead 30-yard scoring pass with 12:34 to play, and the Texans’ defense did not allow Indianapolis to penetrate further than Houston’s 47-yard line on its last two possessions with a chance to tie or take the lead.

Watson threw for 298 yards and two touchdowns, both to Hopkins, who finished with six catches for 94 yards. Will Fuller made an instant impact in his return after a three-week absence with a hamstring injury, totaling seven receptions for 140 yards. Fuller has been feast or famine, totaling 21 of his 41 catches and 417 of his 590 yards in two games.

New England has won eight straight games against Houston, including the playoffs, but Watson has made the Texans competitive in the two games he has played. Houston has lost those games by a combined 10 points, including a 27–20 loss to open last season. Brady is 9–1 lifetime vs. Houston, throwing for 2,842 yards and 25 TDs.

Ravens vs Patriots

Ravens vs Patriots, Live Watch Free Sunday Night Football NFL Ravens and Patriots Game Live PM ET on Sunday. NFL 2019 Regular Season Game Sunday, November 3, Week 9. So, you can easily watch NFL Football all season live matches from here.

The New England Patriots have heard talk all season about how they haven’t played anyone. Well, this Sunday they’ll be going up against a 5-2 Baltimore Ravens team that’s done some damage.

Sure, the Patriots’ schedule so far has been weak, but they (and their defense in particular) have dismantled every challenge in front of them.

Will they have similar success against the dynamic Lamar Jackson and the Ravens? Let’s take a look at the matchup:

PATRIOTS OFFENSE VS. RAVENS DEFENSE

– Brady vs. the blitz

It’s always a gamble when opposing teams send extra rushers against Tom Brady. The Patriots quarterback has spent the last two decades reading defenses and quickly delivering the ball into open spaces.

On Sunday, he’ll be facing a Ravens defense that blitzes on a league-high 48% of snaps, per Pro Football Reference.

The Patriots offensive line has had issues this season protecting Brady. But if Shaq Mason is back and the team can get blitzes picked up, this could be a big night in Baltimore.

– What will N’Keal Harry do?

After a half-season hiatus, the Patriots’ first-round pick is expected to finally suit up in a regular-season game.

Harry impressed during training camp and his limited preseason action. However, his stint on injured reserve took the wind out of his sails for a few months.

Harry’s participation in the Patriots offense Sunday — and down the road — will be a big factor. With Josh Gordon out of the picture, Harry presents the Patriots’ best option for a physical outside receiver. He showed some flashes of chemistry with quarterbacks during training camp, especially with contested catches.

If he jumps in right away, that could be a huge boost for Patriots receiving corps that’s struggled to get open. But if he shows signs of rust, there could be trouble.

PATRIOTS DEFENSE VS. RAVENS OFFENSE

– All eyes on Lamar Jackson

This one isn’t complicated: The Patriots need to keep Jackson contained and prevent him from breaking into the open field.

It’s simple, but presents a huge challenge for the entire defense. As Devin McCourty said this week, you can’t just tell one guy to “spy” and call it a day. That guy can’t stop a running quarterback by himself. Instead, a defense needs all 11 players to handle assignments correctly and work on preventing running lanes from opening.

That’s only if he runs. Jackson is also excellent at scrambling to buy time to find receivers downfield, presenting a whole new kind of challenge for receivers.

– Pass rush predicament

One issue that a mobile quarterback frequently causes for Patriots defenses is that it forces edge rushers to focus more on containing the quarterback than flying in screaming after him. It’s the sort of approach they’ve taken against quarterbacks like Russell Wilson in the past.

It’s tempting to always try and go upfield to trying and get to the quarterback, but we’ve seen this defense burned by that sort of play — like when Mitchell Trubisky burned the Patriots last year with his legs.

Keep an eye out for a more conservative approach off the edge — and for the big guys to try and come crashing up the middle.

TOP 3 MATCHUPS TO WATCH

1. Patriots linebackers vs. Lamar Jackson

The group that will likely bear the bulk of the responsibility for keeping Jackson contained will be the “Boogeymen” linebackers. While they’ve been mostly doing the attack for much of the year, they’ll likely have to do some chasing and containing this week.

Can these linebackers take care of Jackson in the open field? It depends on who winds up there. If it’s Jamie Collins, that’s a good matchup. If it’s Elandon Roberts of Dont’a Hightower, it could be a little tougher.

2. Run defense vs. Mark Ingram

The Patriots got exposed a little bit last week against the Browns with runs up the middle. So far in 2019, the Patriots have given up 4.7 yards per carry, which ranks 21st in the league.

If the Ravens stick around in this game, they could wind up doing some damage with Ingram up the middle like Nick Chubb did last week. But if New England jumps ahead, Baltimore will likely have to abandon a run-heavy gameplan in favor of having Jackson drop back.

3. Ravens CBs vs. Julian Edelman, Phillip Dorsett, Mohamed Sanu

Against a defense that blitzes nearly half of the time, the pressure will be on Brady to get rid of the ball quickly. However, that only works if he can find an open receiver.

For the passing offense to truly threaten the Ravens, Patriots receivers will need to gain separation quickly against Ravens defenders.

The methods for watching NFL games change often as the league signs new contracts and streaming services change their policies, and we’re always updating this guide with the latest broadcast info.

For Cable and Satellite Subscribers
NFL RedZone: If you have a cable TV subscription, NFL RedZone lets you watch a football game’s most exciting moments. The service broadcasts live coverage from every game on a given Sunday, but only when a team is in the “red zone,” or about to potentially score a touchdown. Because it also gives you real-time fantasy stats and extended highlights, it’s especially useful for fantasy-football fans.

NFL RedZone games air between 1 p.m. ET and the end of the late-afternoon games on Sundays during the NFL season. You can watch RedZone from your cable or satellite provider’s streaming service or on a variety of apps for smartphones, tablets and connected devices like Apple TV and PlayStation 4. You can also watch games in a web browser.

NFL Sunday Ticket: DirecTV subscribers have one of the simplest paths to streaming full NFL games in NFL Sunday Ticket. This service streams live games in their entirety to televisions, computers, Android and iOS devices, and game consoles. Sunday Ticket applies only to out-of-market games.

You can also get NFL Sunday Ticket as a stand-alone service — but only if you live in an area that doesn’t get DirecTV service.

Watch ESPN: If you subscribe to a cable package that includes ESPN, and most do, you can stream live ESPN programming from just about any device. Simply use your computer, smartphone, set-top box, game console or another connected device to download the ESPN app, then sign in with your cable providerꞌs information. When ESPN airs Monday Night Football, log into the app and enjoy the game.

Cable-Free Streaming Subscriptions

If you really want to watch football but donꞌt have any desire to clutter up your TV with a cable subscription, Sling TV provides a middle ground. This streaming live-TV service offers ESPN on its $25-per-month Sling Orange service, and Fox and Fox Sports on its $25-per-month Sling Blue service.

To get both ESPN and Fox costs $40 per month, which puts Sling somewhere in the neighborhood of a traditional cable package. But itꞌs much easier to watch Sling remotely, and it works with a huge variety of mobile devices, game consoles and smart TVs.

A current promotion is knocking 40% off the normal $25 monthly rate, so you’d just pay $15 for SlingTV.VIEW DEAL

NFL Game Pass: There is one extremely easy way to watch any NFL game you want online, but it comes with a huge caveat: You have to wait until the game is over. Still, if you can keep yourself from finding out last nightꞌs score, NFL Game Pass will charge you $74.99 per year for the privilege of streaming any game to your computer, mobile device or set-top box.

Game Pass also lets you watch select preseason games, listen to local radio broadcasts of games and watch condensed versions that squeeze an entire game into 30 minutes. While watching the game in real time is arguably half the fun of live sports, thereꞌs something to be said for setting your own schedule.

CBS All Access: CBS All Access is another ideal option for watching games online. In addition to a back catalog of CBS shows, plus some streaming-only shows like Star Trek: Discovery, this service also lets you watch your local CBS station and the game in your market as it airs.

For $6 per month, you can watch the service on most set-top boxes, gaming consoles, mobile devices and computers with limited commercial interruption. If you fork over $10 a month for the service, you’ll get all that commercial-free.

Amazon: Amazon is now streaming live NFL games after it acquired the contract for Thursday Night Football broadcast rights. As long as you have Amazon Prime Video, you can watch Thursday Night Football on the service without ever needing to pay extra. That said, the NFL has retained the rights to five Thursday Night Football games that it airs exclusively on the NFL Network. Amazon Prime Video cannot air those games.

Bypass NFL Game Pass Blackouts with a VPN
Some internet users seem to have found a workaround with NFL Game Pass that lets them watch games live by using a VPN service.

Many online guides suggest that if you use a VPN to make it look like you’re located in Europe, and use that to sign up for the European version of NFL Game Pass, you’ll be able to watch any game you want live. Nearly every European country and former Soviet republic can access NFL Game Pass, but you might not want to pick the United Kingdom or Ireland as your “location,” because some blackouts apply there, too.

We’ve evaluated many VPN services, and our top pick is ExpressVPN. It meets the VPN needs of the vast majority of users, offering outstanding compatibility with most devices and impressive connection speeds. It’s also affordable at $12.95 per month. (Signing up for longer periods of six months or a year reduces the cost even more.)

Our favorite VPN service, ExpressVPN costs as little as $6.77 per month if you sign up for a one-year contract, and there’s a 30-day money-back guarantee.VIEW DEAL

Cheap and secure, NordVPN is just $2.99/month for a three-year contract, uses 2048-bit encryption, and makes it easy to use streaming services.VIEW DEAL

Costing $6.49 per month for a one-year contract, IPVanish lets you have up to 10 simultaneous connections, and works on Mac, Windows, Android and iOS.VIEW DEAL

Free Streaming Options
Yahoo Sports: The Yahoo Sports app for iOS and Android has replaced the old Verizon NFL Mobile app. It streams every NFL game that’s broadcast in your local TV market to your smartphone or tablet for free, including Monday Night Football and Thursday Night Football. You can also sign into your NFL Game Pass subscription and stream it from the Yahoo app.

DIY Streaming Solutions
HD Antenna Streaming Services: This option involves a bit of DIY industriousness, but if you want to catch local games, why not just set up your own stream? Services like Channel Master and Tablo allow you to hook up an HD antenna to a DVR box, then broadcast the stream — either live or recorded — to a set-top box, mobile device or computer just about anywhere in the world.

The cost varies depending on the HD antenna you get and the service you use, but the local channels themselves are free, and you wonꞌt have to jump through any NFL-sponsored hoops.

Patriots vs Jets: How To Watch? NFL Football Game The New England Patriots take on the rival New York Jets in an AFC East matchup on Monday Night Football at MetLife Stadium. It’s the final game on the Week 7 NFL schedule. It’s going to be a great Night of NFL football action and you … Continue reading ” Patriots vs Jets ”

The Patriots (6-0) have the best record in the league and are one of two teams that are still undefeated after six weeks. New England enters the game off a 35-14 win last week over the Giants. Meanwhile, the Jets (1-4) are coming off their first win of the season, a shocking 24-22 upset over the Cowboys, also at MetLife. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET. New England is a 9.5-point favorite in the latest Jets vs. Patriots odds, and the over-under for total points scored is 43.5. Before you make any Patriots vs. Jets picks, see what the SportsLine Projection Model has to say.

The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up almost $7,000 for $100 players on its top-rated NFL picks since its inception four years ago. It has nailed its recent top-rated NFL picks, entering Week 7 of the 2019 NFL schedule on a strong 24-15 run that dates back to last season. It’s also on an incredible 86-58 roll on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season. And in Week 6, it nailed the Patriots (-17) covering a large spread against the Giants and the Seahawks (+1) winning straight-up as underdogs against the Browns.

The model also ranked in the Top 10 on NFLPickWatch for the third year in a row on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 96 percent of CBS Sports office pool players. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

Now, the model has honed in on Patriots vs. Jets. We can tell you it is leaning under, and it also has generated an against the spread pick that cashes in well over 50 percent of simulations. That pick is available only at SportsLine.

The model has factored in that New England feasts on young quarterbacks. The Patriots have won 19 straight games against first- or second-year signal callers, the longest such streak in NFL history. On Monday, they face Jets second-year QB Sam Darnold.

The model also has taken into consideration that New England has arguably the top defense in the league. Entering Week 7, the Patriots led the NFL in total defense (234.7 yards per game), scoring defense (8.0 points per game) and turnovers forced (16). Last week against the Giants, New England returned a blocked punt for a touchdown and forced four turnovers, including a fumble return for a score.

Even so, New England isn’t guaranteed to cover the Patriots vs. Jets spread on Monday Night Football.

The Jets are vastly better with Darnold back under center. After missing three games because of mononucleosis, the quarterback returned on Sunday to complete 23-of-32 passes for 338 yards and two touchdowns in the win over Dallas. The team’s 382 total yards and 24 points were both season-highs.

In addition, there’s a chance linebacker C.J. Mosley plays on Monday night. The playmaking linebacker returned to the practice field on Thursday for the first time since Week 1, when he injured his groin against the Bills. Prior to his injury in that game, Mosley and the Jets’ defense were stuffing Buffalo until he was forced to leave the game in the third quarter. With Mosley on the field, New York allowed three points and 4.8 yards per play over nine Bills possessions. After he left, the Jets allowed 14 points and 8.9 yards per play. He’s officially questionable.

So who wins Jets vs. Patriots on Monday Night Football? And which side of the spread cashes in well over 50 percent of simulations? Visit SportsLine now to see which side of the Jets vs. Patriots spread to jump on, all from the advanced model that is up almost $7,000 on its top-rated NFL picks.
